Here is a look at the final pencils that went straight to colors. Eric had to get really tight on his pencils and get an “inked” look on the pages. Take a look at some more pages below. Some panels are blank because they were added later. The production team taking care of the video end of the introduction had to get the still shots to us, which in some instances, didn’t take place until days before the project deadline! So it was a constant back and forth, and team effort! Many thanks to Roger LA on...

Recently we had an amazing opportunity to work on a project that was featured with Disney XD, called Mighty Med. Tracing the adventures of two high schoolers who happen to be doctors for Superheroes (how cool is that!?!) they get to save the guys who save us! Eric was tapped to pencil the pages that would be seen in the featured introduction to the show. The work was fast paced and the deadlines were unlike anything we’ve encountered before, but that’s “show biz” for ya. Eric was able to pull it off, and the results are amazing! But it was a collaborative effort,...

Here is the first of three sequential pages that Eric did for Marvel comics for submission. Using the script from Ultimate X-men 46, Eric recreated the scene in his own style and taste, similar to that of Jim Lee or Marc Silvestri. The first scene here is at the new Xavier’s School for the gifted, but more specifically in the Danger Room. Now that their little danger room session is over, Colossus wants some more training. But it seems Wolverine is in need of a little persuading first… Nothing like a punch in the jaw to get good old Logan ready for a scrap, eh? Well, I think Colossus is going to get more than he bargained for. Wait till you see page...

The metal clashing conclusion to the sample pages. Wolverine, offering Colossus a blow in kind, which would otherwise render a man dead in his tracks. Technically, Colossus too, seeing as adamantium can cut through any metal, but the script here called for merely sparks flying off his chest. However, what the script did call for, was a pin-up style shot of Wolverine’s blow, which I think Eric captured nicely. I would love this picture hanging from my wall! Wouldn’t...
